Lovingly handmade copper hearts gilded with 24 carat gold leaf



Handmade copper hearts made from recycled copper celebrating the love of shipping two people. After creating the hearts I gild them with several layers of gold leaf.

Two hearts combined in one love yet being two individual hearts.

I hand cut the copper hearts with a die cutter

The gold captures the light beautifully.

Both hearts are soldered into one wire to resemble the string connection of lovers.

I drill a hole into a wooden display cube and insert the copper art into the cube.

This unique piece of art looks fantastic on a shelf or mantle piece.

The gold leaf is protected with a layer of shellac varnish a special gold leaf varnish.
