Each year when I sit down to create my ornaments, it is almost like being a couture designer; one color suggesting another color and inspiring the trims and beading. And this years collection was all about color and images, past and present that pop into my collective viewpoint.
Each ornament is paper mache. It begins as a kraft brown (think paper bag) and is transformed into what you see here; days of work from beginning to its unique finish as each step requires drying and layering, pinning and gluing. Each bead and embellishment is delicately hand pinned and glued into place.
I introduced these cube shaped ornaments into my shop shipping last year and love them because each side is a tiny canvas on its own. This is one of a pair that I made inspired by my tree toppers of the same theme.

It is all about night time skies and starry nights! Each side is decoupaged with a different nightime sky. The top and the bottom are covered in a brilliant chrome paper to reflect not only the beaded accents, but also the lights on your tree!
It measures approximately 2" all around, with some of the additional ornamentation adding some dimension.

Decorate and celebrate all year long!!!!....I don't think of my ornaments only as holiday decorations, though, of course, that is spectacular. To me they are small pieces of art, accenting your decor all year long.
Each ornament comes with a square Kraft gift box to share, or to store. Handle it as you would anything precious, remembering that they are indeed paper. For indoor use only.
