Masons Green Bible Pattern c2639 Lidded shipping and Double Handled Sugar Bowl, c1930, Vibrant Colours, Hand Painted Famille Rose Inspired Design

Masons patent ironstone lidded sugar bowl in the green bible pattern (c2639) measuring 6" wide including handles, 4" wide without x 4.5" high.

Beautifully hand painted with a Famille-Rose inspired design incorporating raised detailing on the two handles and on the finial of the lid.

All the colours remain striking on the shipping gentle yellow tone backdrop.

This piece is just eye catching and full of charm. I am unable to find another one like it online at all.

There is an impressed 30 in the base which I believe would relate to the year of manufacture being 1930

You will see from the photos that there is a section missing from the underside of the lid although this seems to resemble the type of alteration found in modern pieces to accommodate a sugar spoon I don't believe this to have been done at the time of manufacture. This is only visible at all when the lid is removed from the bowl and turned upside down for inspection.

Weighs just 300g therefore shipping is based on a small parcel weighing 750g to ensure adequate materials are used for safe transit.
