The Tucan is definitely a beautiful and elegant bird - hence a very fitting motif for this ceramic bowl / dish. It was made and designed at the Eslau ceramic studio in Denmark in the 60s, a studio that is perhaps most famous for their collaboration with the Danish designer Quistgaard.

Incised line pattern at the border that frames the beautiful multicolored design in the middle.

Marked with "Eslau" at the bottom.

Condition: Vintage item with small signs of use.
Some very small chips on the raised pattern on the border of the bowl. Fine crazing at different spots. Please see photos. Overall in fine condition.
