Gerd shipping Bogelund for Royal Copenhagen Midcentury White Porcelain Bowl

A crisp Scandinavian Modern porcelain vessel with abstracted embossed leaves shipping encircling the body, designed by Gerd Bogelund / Bøgelund (1923-1987) for Royal Copenhagen of Denmark and date marked for the period between 1969 and 1973.

The midcentury vessel is round with tall sides and can be used as a bowl, a vase, or a cachepot for a small plant. It is in very good, undamaged condition, measuring 3.5 in. H x 4.13 in. diameter (at rim) with Gerd Borgelund's hand-written blue artist's cipher under the printed Royal Copenhagen Denmark green factory logo.
