All molds in this pack are B grade and contain a minor imperfection that may affect the finished pieces made with them. These imperfections can be small lints or smudges on the shiny portions of the mold. A doming or gloss coat is a great way to finish the pieces made with these molds, as that will almost always hide shipping any noticeable surface defect.

Some of these molds may have engraved detail portions. For engraved molds I pour and demold the item first, then use paint pens to paint the details, after it's cured and hardened. Then I use a cotton swab that's barely got alcohol on it, and gently remove any excess paint. It's much easier to do this one after you demold, not before you pour. (I'll have pictures of what this one looks like soon :)

Also a good way to avoid surface bubbles in engraved or high detail molds is: pour a tiny bit of clear resin in the mold as soon as you're done mixing. Use a flat silicone brush to spread the resin over the details & engraving and squish out any bubbles you see.
Then you can work on mixing colors into the rest of your resin while the clear resin sits in the mold and releases bubbles. Poke anymore bubbles out with a silicone tool and then pour the rest of your resin in. This will give you a better, bubble-free surface finish than if you mixed micas and glitters into your whole batch of resin and poured it straight in.
(this technique works great for druzy and the detailed hamsa molds)

PLEASE NOTE:
Using a torch to pop bubbles can and WILL quickly burn the resin releasing super toxic fumes and will also damage any silicone mold by fusing the resin and silicone causing mold damage when removing.
If you must use a torch to pop bubbles make sure you do it with the resin in a torch safe container like a silicone pie pan, don't use it in the mold. It will break the silicone down.
A heat gun is much better to use but still can damage the mold.

DO NOT USE THE TORCH ON THE RESIN WHILE IN THE MOLD.
It WILL damage the mold.
Love your molds and they will love you.
