I can't promise you a genie will come out of this tea pot and grant you three wishes when you rub it three times but it certainly looks as if it might. This fun "Aladdin's Lamp" teapot was introduced in the 1930s by Hall China, the self proclaimed "World's largest manufacturer of decorated tea pots and cooking china." This version was most likely made in the early 1940's and has the more rare oval shape opening and lid. I love a good sense of humor and the makers of this teapot had one.
Whether you use this to serve tea or use it as a flower pot, it is sure to bring a smile to you and those shipping you share it with. Some might even be tempted to rub it.
This item is in excellent vintage condition.
Dimensions: 6 3/4" Height, 10 1/2" width with handle, 3 1/2 oval opening
