This great set of books is even more important than ever to have in your child's library- it's too bad it is now out of print!

With all the news and social media sources, children are hearing and absorbing a lot about other countries -and unfortunately most of the news isn't good- The Small World library puts those countries customs and best known features into shipping stories kids actually will enjoy reading.

I can remember in elementary school, one of the first things we did every morning was take turns bringing in news articles from the newspaper to read aloud to the class (we all took turns) and we were required to point on the map where the story took place. With all the focus on testing... I feel like other than local geography- state and then US- kids don't learn much about other cultures until high school... Bridge the gap with this great set!

Condition: Excellent. There may be light surface wear or scratches to the covers. The glossy covers are easily wiped down, however. Some books may have name inscriptions and an underlined word here and there. No missing or scribbed pages, Spines all nice and tight.
