19th century marine painting. Print based on the original by the German marine painter Lorenz Petersen (1803 - 1870) and his half-brother Peter Christian Holm (1823 - 1888), from 1857. Depiction of the Ferdinand Brumm, a wooden full-rigged ship from Stettin. Attractively framed. Very good, clean condition. Framed under passe-partout behind glass. Marked in detail on the back. Lorenz Petersen (September 12, 1803 in Flensburg, † May 2, 1870 in Altona) was a German marine painter. Until 1858 Petersen painted his marine pictures alone, from 1858 to 1869 with his half-brother Peter Christian Holm (1823-1888) and then signed them with "L. Petersen and P. Holm”.
