History
Blue Flower is a series of beautiful blue-painted porcelain from Royal Copenhagen. The blue flowers are one of Royal Copenhagen's shipping oldest decorations on porcelain.

As with the Blue Fluted pattern, Blue Flower is also copied from German Meissen.

The Blue Flower painters had great artistic freedom to paint the flowers as they saw fit. That is why the flowers and bouquets are painted uniquely.

It is a pattern which is timeless and beautiful. It fits into any interior setting. Many of our customers also combine the Blue Fluted patterns with Blue Flower with great success.

Blue Flower are available in different variants and forms such as Blue Flower Curved, Blue Flower Braided and Blue Flower Edgy.

In the Blue Flower series there are parts for dinner sets, coffee sets and other objects, e.g. candlesticks, jars, cups etc.

Tips for maintenance
Much of our porcelain is dishwasher safe and some is not. All underglazed painted porcelain is dishwasher safe. Underglaze painting means that the painting is under the glaze, such as e.g. Blue Fluted or Blue Flower series.

However, pay special attention to the fact that some older dishes and other objects do not have glaze all over - if this is the case, the porcelain must be washed by hand.

Porcelain that has been painted on top of the glaze cannot be washed in a dishwasher, as the paint wears off quickly. The same applies to porcelain with a gold rim, where the gold rim wears off.
