This is a mug I threw on the wheel using a cone 6 white stoneware body.
While it was wet, I dragged my fingers along the outside of the mug to create a subtle wavy texture. Then, I used slip to create raised lines to draw fishes over the wavy lines. This drawing process is also known as slip trailing.
I made three mugs that are this same drawing idea:
Mug A: 4.4 inches tall, holds 16 fl oz
This cup is brown to blue and it has a yellow moon.
Mug B: 4.4 inches tall, holds 18 fl oz
This cup is brown to blue and it has a yellow moon.
Mug C: 4.75 inches tall, holds 19 fl oz
This cup is This cup is brown to blue and it has a drawing of a moon that is not spot glazed.
All three of the cups are glazed with a food safe white glaze on the shipping inside.
