ORIGINAL ARTWORK:
"Crested Guineafowl" is an original image that has been created with two linoleum blocks. The first block, captures the black in the Crested Guineafowl. The second block, was shipping carved to show the purple on the bird's neck and red on its face. I saw this beautiful bird when I visited the Lincoln Park Zoo with my family. This an a limited edition of 10 prints I pulled with my Speedball Etching Press in my home studio. I worked with oil-based printing inks and print onto #135 Printmaking Paper. Due to the nature of the printing process, each print will have a unique character and will vary slightly from the photograph in color and registration. The artwork will be signed and numbered.
