Crowded shipping Bus

This is a depiction of Bus 142, the last resting place of Chris McCandless. Although surrounded in shipping constant solitude, I imagine many have journeyed and seen this bus in its remote location. Objects that become mementos or symbols of lost life, hold as much life in them as a living creature. This bus not only harbors the energy of Chris McCandless, but many other people who may have used this bus for shelter or a resting place. I used charcoal and ink, to create a ghostly atmosphere in the environment but wanted to keep the bus surrounded in white, as a mark of a safe haven.
