Collectors and interior designers are all about this 1920's-1970's roadside pottery. All are unique. There are no 2 alike. It is a misconception that they are tribal, they were made by the Nemadji Pottery co. They sold them as souvenirs to tourist at roadside shops mainly starting around the Grand Canyon area. These have become very collectable. An employee at the pottery shop came up with the design by dipping the pottery in water with house paint floating on top and turning it give the swirled design.
No chips or cracks a few scratches on the blue in and two spots that look like water on the green and orange.
Blue in has less of a glaze in the inside than the others
