Sango Bay Black and White Print I Original Photography by Grant Glendinning.
This image was photographed from the shore of Sango Bay at Durness, Scotland.
After taking several shots of the scattered sea stacks on the pristine beach I decided to shoot a longer exposure as the light was glorious and the clouds began to thicken.
I singled out this majestic pyramidal type stack and exposed the scene for 63 seconds, the long exposure resulted in this black and white surreal minimalistic seascape.
A little trivia about Sango bay
As a teenager, John Lennon spent his holidays in a house overlooking the bay. It is thought that his time spent in Durness is the inspiration behind the Beatles song "In My Life".
Giclée Fine Art Print.
The Image will be printed on Premium Luster Photo Paper
